What this website collects
As little as possible. This website does not use cookies, does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and contains no contact forms or login areas. Browsing this site does not require you to provide any personal information.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) may record standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
When you contact us
If you call, email, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, address, and information about the cleaning work you need. We use this information only to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide a quote;
- arrange and carry out the service you book;
- keep basic records of work carried out.
The legal basis for this is the performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one) under UK GDPR. We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing. We keep enquiry and job details only as long as reasonably needed for business and legal record-keeping.
Third-party services
This site links to our profiles on Facebook, TikTok and to WhatsApp. If you follow those links, the respective platform's own privacy policy applies. Photos and videos in our gallery show our own work; we do not publish images that identify customers or their addresses.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict our processing of it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at magikcleancarpets@gmail.com.
